Edgehill: A community battle

The demolition.

In 2002 I spent some time recording the Edgehill estate as it was pulled down, to make way for a new housing project. Some of the people were still living in the houses as it was demolished around them. They had probably lived there for their entire lives.

This was a time of change in photography, the black & white images were taken on film (self processed), the colour on a digital camera (Nikon D1x).
